1 General

Terms and Conditions:

RentMyRide.ae is officially owned and operated by Rent MyRide Middle East DMCC.

Online Payment Policy:

Any person paying online should use their own personal credit or debit cards. If not, then the service may not be awarded.

Privacy Policy:

One of the basics of our company’s existence is to provide our customers with a hassle free and smooth booking process that is entirely digitalized. Our platform stores information about individuals booking through us where we collect information’s like name, email address, mobile number to confirm that they receive the right product they order. Furthermore, for car rental bookings we also ask our customers to provide us with their documents for registration of the car rental process with RTA and providers portal. Our platform does accept online payment through credit/debit cards which why is it should be clear that Rent MyRide Middle East does not store any of its customers ’ payment data rather a full payment is taken by the payment gateway company and the corresponding bank.

Weekend Booking Policy:

Kindly call our service center before booking a car on the weekends for one day. 
Bookings for more than one day on the weekends can be booked without prior notice.  

Installment Plans:

  • The transaction value needs to be above AED 1,000 with the maximum amount of AED 6000 per transaction per customer.
  • The installment plans available in the following terms:
    1. 2 installments within the 1-month plan.
    2. 3 installments within the 2 months plan.
    3. 4 installments within the 3 months plan.
  • In all plan options, the customer must make the first installment at the time of purchase.
  • The installment option is only available for UAE residents and above the age of 25 with a credit card.
  • A postdated bank guarantee cheque must be given on the value of the rent amount (which is fully refundable once the installments or complete or full payment is given in advance).

*Please note that all installment plans are subject to approval*

Cheque Payments: 

In the case of cheque return, 500 AED will be charged as a penalty if the value is less than 10,000 AED.

In case of cheque return, 1000 AED will be charged as a penalty if the value is more than 10,000 AED

2 Car Rental

General:

  1. This online booking facility (whether the reservation is confirmed or not) does not constitute a contract for the supply of vehicle rental services. A contract will be entered at the time of rental delivery or pickup and will be governed by the law of the United Arab Emirates. In the event Rent MyRide is unable, or at its discretion declines to provide rental services, a full refund of the prepaid amount will be made. Once a client enters into a contract with the car rental company, they accept to enter the terms and policies of that car rental company as Rent MyRide Middle East will not have any sort of liability towards the customer.
  2. Any terms and conditions entered at the time of pickup/delivery surpass the terms and conditions of RentMyRide.ae if contradict. 
  3. A car rental period is 24 hours based from the moment a customer enters the rental agreement 

Insurance:

All cars listed on this website are provided with comprehensive insurance for the renters and its authorized drivers in accordance with automobile liability insurance policy.

Additional Driver:

A renter can appoint an additional driver at the time of pick up/delivery. Please note that an additional charge may be applicable at the time of adding additional drivers. Please contact me for details.

Late Return:

The renter is liable to return the car at the promised date and time of return. The collection of the car can be arranged based on the type of booking. Late return of the car can occur with an additional charge.

Kilometer Limit:

All cars should not exceed 250 KMS a day, 1500 KMS a week, and 4000 KMS a month. An additional charge can be applied if the renter exceeds the limited kilometers.

Accidents:

In the event of an accident or any other damage to the car, the police must be called before the vehicle is moved. The police report and a repair slip are essential to be obtained. If a renter fails to collect the report from the police, then the repairing cost of the car may be applicable upon them based on the agreement entered at the time of pick or delivery.

Vehicle Colours:

The colors of the vehicles that are mentioned on the website do not guarantee the color of the color at the time of delivery. RentMyRide.ae does not guarantee the exact color of the car booked. However, we will keep the preferences under consideration subject to availability. 

Driving License:

All UAE citizens and residents desire to rent a car must have a UAE valid driving license. Citizens and residence of all GCC countries can rent a car using their valid GCC license. Visitors from all other countries can rent a car using their international driving license. Visitors who are nationals and license holders from countries listed in the table below can drive using their local license (Those licenses not in English, should be translated and attested).

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW):

The renter is responsible to acknowledge and accept the LDW terms and conditions as stated in the rental contract with the car rental provider. In the case of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the renter should accept the LDW options offered by the car rental provider to minimize their loss.

Delivery and Collection:

All bookings with RentMyRide.ae are inclusive of delivery and collection services based on the selected options. A customer can choose to self-pick the car from the rental location as well. Irrespective of the model of car handover method for car renting services, it is essential for a customer to present their required documents uploaded online to the service person handing over the car.

Off-road and Outside UAE:

  1. All cars listed with RentMyrRde.ae are not permitted to be driven outside UAE.
  2. All cars listed with RentMyRide.ae is not permitted to be driven off-road/ race/ or any other fun activity. A renter bears all the cost to any damage caused to the car. Renters will be paying a penalty if the car is driven off-road (desert) area. 

Payments, Fines and Damages:

All payments should be paid in advance, and in certain situations, the payments can be agreed to be paid after the service with the guarantee of the security block. If the payment is not received after the service ends, the full amount of deposit will be non-refundable.

All renters are responsible and liable for the fines and damages occurred during the rental period. A deposit amount is taken at the time of delivery of the vehicle which is a refundable subject to traffic violations and other damages. Rent MyRide has introduced the process of tokenization which allows the client not to be charged or blocked a deposit amount but instead to pay for their violations and other damages online through the corresponding banks. The payments will be collected Automatically and a receipt will be sent to the customer. 

Please note that for transaction clearance of any fine through Rent MyRide platform there will have an AED 100 administrative fee on each fine. 

Age Limit:
People under the age of 25 are not allowed to use www.rentmyride.ae to hire cars or create an account for themselves. Age limits differ based on car categories, anyone under the age of 25 may not qualify under any category or rentals. If the booking is made then the booking is non-refundable following the cancellation policy listed below.

Delivery and Pick up Location:
All cars on the portal are due for complimentary delivery and pick up. The cars must be picked up from the location it was delivered. 
In case of changes in the location, kindly inform the delivery team 24 hours prior to the pickup time. 

Information Conflict:

In the event, the information provided on the platform of www.rentmyride.ae is not correct and does not reflect the booking person. The renter may not be awarded their booking and the booking can be nonrefundable.  

Limitation of Liability:

At the time of usage of this website, you agree that neither www.rentmyride.ae nor its suppliers, shareholders, employees are liable to you, anyone claiming for you or under you as fiduciary for you or any third party for any direct or indirect incidental special exemplary punitive or other damages under any contract negligence strict liability or other law or loss of profit, loss data, lost business, interrupted communication, damages or any kind and/or  direct or indirect expenses arising in connection with:

  1. Use of this website including but not limited to damages, resulting from or arising from your reliance on this website or any information or materials found on this website or hyperlinked from this website, omissions, interruptions, errors, defects, delays in operation, transmission, or eavesdropping by third parties or any failure of performance of this website.
  2. Government restriction, strikes, war, civil commotion, any natural disasters, terrorist activities, or force of Majeure, power failure, large increases in online activity in a short period of time, viruses catastrophic hardware failure, attacks on our server, fires, earthquakes, floods, unusually severe weather or any other condition beyond reasonable control limiting preventing otherwise affecting your access to use this website or site material or our ability to provide products or services in connection with reversed through this website
  3. Loss of security of information you have provided with your use of this website or inception of any such information by unauthorized third parties.

You fully understand that in such cases you will not use this website or its products where you believe that it has been used to harm you in any manner.

The United Arab Emirates is the country of our domicile.

Refusal:

- In case Rent MyRide fails to deliver the chosen car, then an upgrade is proposed free of cost if not accepted then Rent MyRide is liable to refund the full amount to the renter for their convenience.

-  In case of a refusal by Rent MyRide or partnered company due to any reason prior to entering the rental agreement, then Rent MyRide is liable to refund the full amount to the renter for their convenience.

Cancellation Policy:

  1. Once a booking is made and wished to be canceled, a flat 10% is applicable as an administrative cost.
    1. If a booking is made and the payment is already taken, then the full payment will be refunded within 5 working days.
  2. If the booking is canceled within 24-48 hours prior to the delivery/pickup time, then 50% of the payment will be charged.
    1. If a booking is made and the payment is already taken, then the remaining 50% payment will be refunded within 5 working days.
  3. In case the booking is canceled within 12-24 hours prior to the delivery/pickup time, then 75% payment is applicable, and the renter will be refunded the remaining amount within 5 working days.
    1. In case a booking is canceled within 12 hours prior to pickup/delivery, then full payment is charged and non-refundable.
  4. Bookings made within 24 hours or less notice are non-refundable and in the case of cancellation, full payment for the one day is charged.
    1. The remaining sum will be refunded back within 5 working days.
  5. Once the service already started and the guest wants to cancel the booking at any stage of the service, the balance payment is non-refundable. 

Accidents and Unexpected Faults for the Booked Vehicle:

The customer understands that the vehicle they book can be subjected to unexpected accidents and technical faults. If a situation of such arises, the customer will be offered a substitute/Similar car right away. The customer can not and shall not hold Rent MyRide responsible for such situations. If the client refuses to have a substitute, then the customer will be liable for a full refund of the amount paid minus 3%.

Reckless driving:
All cars are monitored with GPS and system trackers, in case of reckless driving or overspeeding a notification will be sent, more than 3 warnings will lead to switching off the vehicle along with immediate cancelation of the booking of the customer and a penalty of 2000 AED. 

Refunds:

Rent MyRide Middle East is an online platform that connects the customers with their ideal cars available. Once a customer enters a contract with the car rental company at the time of Pickup/Delivery they accept to follow and obey the terms and policies of that specific company including their refund policy. Rent MyRide holds the responsibility towards the fund of a client until the moment a customer enters an agreement with the car rental company. Once entered Rent MyRide Middle East DMCC does not hold liability towards the funds of a customer as Rent MyRide Middle East forwards the funds to the Car rental company.

No Show:

  1.  In the scenario of the pickup option if the booked vehicle is not collected within 1 hour of its collection time and no further notice has been provided by the renter, then full payment is applicable and it is non-refundable.
  2.  In the scenario of the delivery option if the booked vehicle is not collected within 35 minutes of its collection time and no further notice has been provided or agreed, then the full payment is applicable and it is non-refundable.

Deposits:

As of 15th August 2018 RentMyRide.ae is offering a zero deposit scheme for the listed cars. However, there are cars listed that still require a deposit block amount towards which has the following statement:

It is to be known that a deposit is charged at the time of pickup/delivery based on the preference of the cars selected. It is the responsibility of the customer to check and be aware of the cost of each deposit applicable for each car at the time of booking as they may vary. The deposit can be paid in cash or through a credit card or debit card based on the preference of the car rental company. At the time of selection, each car will state the amount and type of deposit payment required. The deposit is fully refundable subject to traffic violations and accidents after 21 - 28 working days from the date of return of the vehicle (kindly note that the deposit refund policy may vary based on the company delivering the vehicle). 

3 Stretch Limo

General Remarks:

Smoking and Consumption of Alcoholic drinks are strictly not permitted in our vehicles. The penalty of violating the same will be minimum AED.700/- and can increase subject to the damage occurred.

Rent MyRide reserves the right to replace either vehicle or chauffeur with no penalty on to us, in case of mishap e.g. mechanical breakdown, accident, chauffeur sickness, etc.

The chauffeur details will be provided only 24 hours prior to the service.

 Service is restricted to within the natural borders of the United Arab Emirates.

Full Day Tariff Includes:

10 continuous hours of uniformed chauffeur service, fuel & Road Tolls (Salik).

 According to RTA Dubai, chauffeur driven services are limited within the borders of Dubai/Abu Dhabi/Al Ain/Umm Al Quwain & Fujairah.

 Refusal:

In case of a refusal or Rent MyRide fails to deliver the chosen car to the renter then Rent MyRide is liable to refund the full amount to the renter for their convenience.

Cancellation Policies:

Daily and Longer

  1.  Once a booking is made and wished to be cancelled, a flat 150 AED is applicable as an administrative cost.
    1. If a booking is made and the payment is already taken, then the full payment will be refunded within 5 working days.
  2. If the booking is cancelled within 24-48 hours prior to the delivery/pickup time, then 50% of the payment will be charged.
    1. If a booking is made and the payment is already taken, then the remaining 50% payment will be refunded within 5 working days.
  3. In case the booking is canceled within 12-24 hours prior to the delivery/pickup time, then 75% payment is applicable, and the renter will be refunded the remaining amount within 5 working days.
    1. In case a booking is canceled within 12 hours prior to pickup/delivery, then full payment is charged and non-refundable.
  4. Bookings made within 24 hours or less notice are non-refundable and in the case of cancellation, full payment for the one day is charged.
    1. In the case of hourly bookings, the cost for the first two hours will be deducted.
    2. In both scenarios mentioned in point 4 and 4.1, the remaining sum will be refunded back within 5 working days.
  5. Once the service already started and the guest wants to cancel the booking at any stage of the service, the balance payment is non-refundable. 

No Show:

  1. Bookings made for the airport, a customer is eligible for 60 minutes of free waiting time, where an additional 60 minutes are provided with the 50% cost price of the full hour. In case a customer does not show after the 2 hours of the waiting period, the booking will be considered as no show and the full booking amount will be applicable and non-refundable.
  2. Bookings that are made in the city have a 15 minute of a free waiting period, after which 10% of the cost price will be applicable at each quarter. A maximum of 45 minutes of waiting time is acceptable after which the booking will be considered as no show and full payment will be applicable and nonrefundable.

Luggage and Carry on Bags:

Guests are not allowed to have any carrying on bags or luggage inside the Limousine.

Hand bags and Purse are acceptable to bring.

4 Car With Driver

General Remarks:

5 Offers

OFFERS:

Our limited time subscription program is active from 22nd October 2019 onwards until 25th October 2019, we will be offering cars for up to 99% discount rates.
The offer is for a limited period and limited car such as one or two cars a day.
It is a first come first serve based program.
How does it work?
1) You need to sign up with the website and create an account
2) In offers section of account profile, you need to purchase a subscription package based on the preference.
3) Upon purchasing a subscription, it will clearly mention the number of days the subscription will be valid for.
4) Within those days, you can avail of any offer on a first come, first serve basis.
5) Keep an eye on the home page for amazing offers during the period of 22nd October 2019 until 25th October 2019.
Important terms condition for offers: -
- A booking made through offers is valid for 1 DAY RENTAL ONLY. if a renter wishes to rent more than one day then normal renting charges will apply.
- A renter (subscriber) will NOT have any refund if the subscription period is expired and an offer is not acclaimed or could not be acclaimed due to first come, first serve policy.
- Normal car rental terms and conditions as mentioned above in the car rental terms section apply.
- A security deposit amount will be applied depending on the car type. 
- Cars with 0 deposit have to be booked with a VALID CREDIT CARD only.

- From 22nd October until 25th October 2019 each offer goes live at 12 PM.

- Offers could go live before the scheduled time, which could be possible due to testing modules. 

- Offers booked anytime before 12 PM will not be awarded. 

- Offer will go live at 12 PM every day during the promoted days for 5 mins, any individual that books the offer 1st will be awarded the offer. 

- Subscribers buying offers but not being the first to purchase it will not be awarded of the offer as there is ONLY 1 slot of available car available for each offer.

- Subscribers buying an offer at 12 PM and not being the first one will not be refunded of their amount paid. 

Bookings made through offers and confirmed by Rent Myide are NON-REFUNDABLE at any stage and regular cancellation policies do not apply.

SUBSCRIPTION POLICY:


- A subscription is active from the moment you purchase the subscription.

-Offers on the home page have a timer that will notify the subscriber when the offer is on.
-Subscribers can avail offers on the discounted rate only within the days of their subscription validity.
-Upon expiry of the subscription, and no offer acclaimed, the customer will NOT BE REFUNDED the subscription amount paid at any stage.
